1.0 INTRODUCTION
MAYODEN stands for Magu Youth Development Network. It was established as an outcome of out of school youth programme that was funded by UNICEF and implemented by Magu District council in 2003.MAYODEN is a non government nonprofit organization with registration number 00NGO00/0582 under the non organization act, 2002 under section 12 (2) of act No. 24 of 2002. The organization was registered on December 29th, 2005. MAYODEN has rented the office along Bank Street in Magu town.
MAYODEN works alongside with local government leaders and a variety of organizations throughout Magu district, including Ihushi Development Centre, Scc-Vi Project Mwanza, Community Development and Relief Agency (CODRA) and Magu Civil Society Organization Network (MACSONET) MAYODEN also worked with UNICEF TANZANIA on partnership with Magu District Council, FHI/UJANA/ISHI. Normally MAYODEN report to Magu District Council and other related partners.

To be a leading network in Tanzania that facilitates youths to be responsible in behavior change and play a significant role in socio - economic activities.
2.2 MAYODEN MISSION
To facilitates commitment and behavior change initiatives by encouraging youth participation on issues of their concern
2.3 MAYODEN GOAL
To set strategies that will contribute to national initiatives on behavior change, reduce HIV/AIDS infections among youth and general Strategy on Poverty Reduction and economic growth.
