OVCC will be holding some discussions from 30th Oct, 2012 to 2nd Nov, 2012 with the primary and secondary schools teachers,of those schools around Puma ward, Mungaa Ward and Ihanja Ward for the goal of knowing how to do in order to improve Education especially by requiring volunteers to come and help teach our students at schools.
This is because at many schools there is a lacking of teachers almost in every Primary school and Secondary school mostly The Science Lessons teachers are needed.
After the discussion, OVCC as an Organization, will require volunteers from other organization for teaching at schools. If this is possible, there will be more improvement of education in the schools targeted.
Yes, because OVCC is looking forward to seeing that orphans and vulnerable students move forward to education by supporting them with school materials and even teach life skills on how the caregivers with the orphans and vulnerable children can use to gradually improve life. OVCC in this photo was also teaching the orphans and vulnerable children with their care givers (although the photo do not show the whole picture in case of the small room which these children use as a classroom, the building is belonging to the denomination, but it has been asked by us to be used as a classroom just to lay a good Education foundation fro these kindergarten class of orphans and vulnerable children. It was on 24th September 2012 when OVCC Organization visited the class and support, teach them including their caregivers.
OVCC member Nason Ibrahim is encouraging orphans and vulnerable children kindergarten class at Itongo sub-village on 24th September, 2012 while OVCC was supporting them with school materials and also support their teacher who is voluntarily do teach them throught the year. The OVCC member also taught the caregivers of the children about HIV/AIDS infectious ways so that they can escape. He said that even our children who we are living with them have to know about these HIV/AIDS infectious ways so that they become aware of them.
Orphans and vulnerable children are with school materials and soap after being given by Orphans and Vulnerable Children Care (OVCC)organization at Kimbwi village on 11th Aug, 2012. Most of the orphans and vulnerable children at Kimbwi village are real in need of life materials support and school materials support for those who are in schools.
OVCC Secretary Rachel Maumbuka is teaching the caregivers and the children about Child's rights and Fairly treating them. An event took place on 11th Aug,2012 at Kimbwi village. OVCC organization expects great changes to the caregivers and to the children too after been taught.
On the day of 11th August 2012, OVCC Members will conduct training for caregivers of the orphans and vulnerable children at Kimbwi village.
After the training, OVCC Members will support orphans and vulnerable children with basic needs.
