Orphans and vulnerable children with school materials after being given by some of the OVCC team members at the OVCC office. The OVCC team was to go to Unyangwe village on 13th April, 2013 for supporting orphans and vulnerable children and teach the caregivers and the community in general in that village the Lessons which could be of great important in their life with the orphans and vulnerable children, but the action was postponed by the village's Government leaders for their being absent on that day. Usual OVCC works in participating with the Government leaders in implementing their activities. And despite of going to Unyangwe village for supporting orphans and vulnerable children and teach the caregivers of the orphans and vulnerable children, OVCC team supported some of the orphans and vulnerable children at Puma village where its Headquarters is. The children are infornt of the OVCC office standing after being given school materials.

Orphans and vulnerable children are given school materials at the OVCC office when they came for help. OVCC do target that these kind of children (orphans and vulnerable) it were so better if they get education for their future. They would be well equipped to encounter their futurity so that they can solve even their life style through the Education they have obtained. Also they can initiate or start other business regarding to their environment they live and able to change the life situation. This is the main goal that OVCC usual give them school materials. This action took place on 13th April, 2013 at OVCC office. OVCC team arranged to go and support orphans and vulnerable children at Unyangwe village, but the exercise was postponed in case of being absence of the village Government leaders as they informed to the OVCC leardership.

Orphans and Vulnerable Children Care (OVCC) team will be working in Unyangwe village on 13th April 2013 in helping orphans and vulnerable children with school materials, clothes and soap.

There will be leasons to be taught to the orphans and vulnerable children together with their caregivers and the community in general about Child's rights, Life Skills and HIV/AIDS Prevention.

Yes, as usual as OVCC members do their activities and discuss their agenda together, here is how the members are sharing and changing ideas together in making decisions in their agendas and in implementing their activities. On the day of 9th March, 2013 this event took place. And all members are happy because all ideas from each and every member is accepted and valued.

OVCC members being at the meeting in their office busy for discussing some of their Agenda such as going to support orphans and vulnerable children at Utaho "A" village and completing "An Award for Excellent Organization 2013" from The Foundation for Civil Society (FCS). This was done on the day of 9th March, 2013.

Scholastica Lissu with fruits given by OVCC members at her home in case of caring for her health because she lives with HIV/AIDS. She, with her mother, her grand children enjoyed being visit by OVCC in another occasion for care. This day was on 5th February, 2013. OVCC do visit other people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) and give them hope by gifting them with food, fruits, vegetables,flour with different ingredients for porridge, etc.

Scholastica an HIV/AIDS positive is given fruits by OVCC members at her home on 5th Feb, 2013 for her health improvement. She is living at Kimbwi village and OVCC organization works with her to give testimonies about living with HIV/AIDS.

OVCC members give some food to Scholastica Lissu who is HIV/AIDS positive at her home while she is with her mother and her grand children. The family is real living in a hard situation according to the lack of nutritious food, food itself as food for hunger, clothes and the other daily basic needs. OVCC is also helping the other two children who are at school and are belonging to this family but are not in the picture. They were at school when the this service was taking place on 5th Feb, 2013 at their home. Their house is not strong, it can be destriyed by the rain any time. This family belong to Scholastica, an HIV/AIDS positive whom OVCC cares for her, is in desperate need to be closely helped.

Lazarus James, a Form Four student at Makiungu Secondary school is given sorghum crop for his food when he is at school. on the picture is one of the OVCC member giving the student Lazarus James that kind of crop for his food while their arte in the OVCC Office on 20th Jan, 2013. Many orphans students and non-students cme to the OVCC office to ask for a help when their are in most desperate needing food, school materials, etc, especially in these hard time period of food shortage from January to April almost in each year. The orphans children around in the villages need to be closely cared for.

OVCC organization will be teaching caregivers, children and the community in general at Mungaa village and Utaho village on 26th January, 2013 about Child Rights, Life Skills (inluding tackling poverty), Treating orphans fairly and love them, Health, etc.

We are expecting to share the events with governmental villages' leaders, Ward leaders and even Divitions leaders in these events.

We also expecting great community changes after receiving these lessons and implement them. For we hope that caregivers of the orphans and vulnerable children will give the children their rights and wellcare for them so that they build good foundation for their life from now to future.

The community in general will also be aware of orphans and vulnerable children to care for them and support them to reach the life goals.
