KDSG AND EPHA SIGN AN AGREEMENT ON PARTINERSHIP
Kigoma Disabled Survival Group (KDSG) and EPHA Organisation of the USA have signed an agreement on the mutual cooperation. They have agreed that all projects to be implemented under this partnership scheme will be shared equally to all perfect performance. Mr. Robert Bugoro, the EPHA director and Gaspar Ntabaye, the Coordinator of the KDSG have signed the partnership agreement on behalf of their organisations.
A DISABLED MAN REQUESTS FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
A man who is a disabled person would like to request for a public to sponsor him at the Opn University of Tanzania. Talking to the news writer, the man says he need to pursue for a master degree in Educational Administration, planning and policy studies. He claims that his financial position can not be enough to cover costs of learning such program, hence asking for a public to assist him.
the man said that at bachelor level which he took at Mount Meru university in Arusha, he pursued a bachelor degree in Education with the help of Loan Board and got a GPA of 3.8

KDSG NEEDS PARTINERSHIP IN BUILDING A DISABLED CENTRE
Kigoma Disabled Survival Group (KDSG) is now looking for someone to share experience and resources on construction of the Disabled Centre in Kigoma region of Tanzania. The center will be a valuable project for the people with disabilities and other community members as it will yield employment opportunities and a good center for research on people with disabilities.
The project coordinator Mr. Gaspar Ntabaye explained at the committee meeting held on 28 September 2013. During the meeting the coordinator the center will make information on people with disablities to be obtained easily hence making a good resource for them and the public at large. He continued to explain that the project will take about five phrases and will cost an approximate 2bilions Tanzanian shillings.
The coordinator asked the members to take responsibility on finding a partiner who would make a support to make sure the project succeed.
The executive committee met on Sunday, 21st October, 2012 for a normal meeting at which the Treasurer, ndugu Gaston Mbanguka presented income and expenditure report of the organisation. He said that the ongoing office building project will need a good amount so that to be finished earlier. He provided tactics of fund raising in order to ancomplish the project which will help to show the image of the organisation.
Members of executive committee had time to observe for a building photos those showed the level at which it has reached.
Strategic plan
The project coordinator, ndugu Gaspar Ntabaye presented a report on the five year strategic plan which starts on 2013 - 2017 and its budget which seem to be a good stand for the development of the disabled and the organisation. In the strategic the coordinator said that there will be research on poverty issues of the disables and that there will be buiding a disabled resource centre. Other plans are lobbying and advocacy, education of primary helth for the disabled and economic empowerment for the people with disabilities in Kigoma region.
In attaining the objectives, he said that the internal and foreign partinership will be needed.
The meeting also nominated Mr. Michael Rubasha to be a Patron of the organisation. Mr Rubasha is a medical doctor at Baptist district hopital in Kigoma/Ujiji Municipality.
There have been election recently whereby the former chairperson ndugu Yohana Chobaliko lost his seat of which Zainab Kasiome won the seat.
Alfred Ntibahakada elected as a secretary and Gaston Mbanguka a treasurer.
There had been viewers from the government and from NGOs representatives to see what was happening on 10th of March 2012, at Kividea hall.

As we had been working in Kalinzi ward and having successfully completed the quarterly activities, on 14th of May the Excutive committee sat and discussed on moving the intensive activities in Matendo ward in Kigoma district which is expecting to begin on 23rd May 2011.
