Elderly are vital human beings since  they have spent a lot of time to generate and yield profit  to  this nation as well as paying tax and revenue for the National Development,surprisingly and worse enough,elderly are being put in marginalised position inwhich even Tanzanian Constitution doesn't state clearly and transparently their position to this democratic country.This is because of the Tanzania's constitution being dumb concernig elderly issues  particularly on the part of paying them even a little monthly cash atleast to  sustain their lives,provided that they have contributed alot to the government as far as the national development concern.

With this claim,i would like to clearly contribute my opinions for the  new proposed constitution to come in our country especially basing upon the position of elderly in a new constitution.

The constitution has to state clearly that,there should be the elderly council which rank from the National level up to the Ward levels so that they may use it as a strong instrument to demand their claims in the country.However the Elderly council instrument can also be used as an advisory instrument to the government whereby it can be branched from the National rank up to the grassroot rank(Ward rank) 

Also the constitution should state clearly that all elderly in the country are to be payed monthly salary  or allowances to sustain their lives on regarding that Elderly is a group of people in the community which suffer from various health problems and social setbacks.

Not only that, but also Elderly are being used as potential instruments  for recording and keeping up National history that is written and unwritten for the benefit of the coming generation and the Nation in general.
