  1. NYDT’s vision is to see that the youths & women in the community as a whole are self-reliant, environmental conservers for slum upgrading in urban cities and rural development.
  2. NYDT’s mission is to be a centre of excellence technology for the youth’s and women in terms of self reliance facilities through entrepreneurship, recycling and business as a means to job creation, employment and income generation.

  4. NYDT targets group
  •       Young people aged 10-25
  •       Aged youths between 26-35 and
  •       Women and Children.

5.NYDT - THEMATIC AREAS

i. Entrepreneurship and Business training by using ILO/CHIPUA/KNN and street kid business training model of Canada.(Theory and practical for green jobs)

The organization intends to improve entrepreneurship skills to group of youth and women entrepreneurs by facilitating them on the following key issues:

  •       Managerial and financial skills in entrepreneurship.
  •       Skills on how youth could keep their environment safe and clean at the same time earning a living through recycling technology.
  •       Formulating platforms for voicing young people emerging entrepreneurs.
  •       Field schools “shamba darasa” from which youth and women could learn.

ii. Education

The organization focus to increase academic performance by working on key issues:-

  •       School dropout and truancy.(Problem)
  •       Increase of failures in standard seven and four results.(problem)
  •       Motivation to both teachers and student.
  •       Training opportunities.
  •       income generation activities to students

iii. Women rights

The organization advocates and fight for women rights in the following key issues:-

  •       All forms of violence against women
  •       Early marriage and teenage pregnancies.
  •       decrease maternal mortality rate

6.Main focus strategic activities :

  •       workshop on entrepreneurship   awareness through group centered approaches and participatory approaches for entrepreneurship skills and learning under the strategy of “how” to learn and “do things.
  •       Preparing dialogues, Forums, Workshop, conference for youths and women to give out their views on policies.
  •       Capacity Building to youths (vulnerable female and males) on:-

i. Business and entrepreneurship opportunities.

ii. Identifying ,rising and strengthening youth skills
