It was very interesting to see kid of about 8 years performing and drawing many people's attention
St.Joseph Choir of Roman Catholic(Nansio town)were not left behind in the commemoration,it was an inclusive event which brought all stakeholders together to learn and start a new life style ensuring that there is no more Malnutrition among their kids
Utandawazi Theatre group showing their abilities in making people happy and at the same time delivering the right message on the commemoration of African food security by using local drama/dance.
Every One was happy to participate in the 3km walk,it was indeed very interesting and the walk influenced many people to come and see what was going on together with the entertaining group(Utandawazi group) whom entertained people with their drama,songs and poems
The traffic police collaborated with us in a satisfied extent during the commemoration
• A policeman whom was responsible to ensure the traffic safety during the walk along the road towards the Mongella stadium where the D.C and other people including some of the government officials were waiting to receive them.
These are some of the students from the 3 different primary schools(Ukerewe district) i.e. Bukongo, Nansio and Kagera when they were walking while handling their banners with great messages concerning nutrition issues.The marching started from the district hospital to the Mongella stadium.

Mary Tesha Onesmo, whom was a guest of honor during the commemoration of the African food and nutrition security day, which was held yesterday on 30th /10/2013 at Mongella stadium Ukerewe,it was prepared by Mzeituni Foundation in partnership with PANITA(Partnership for Nutrition in Tanzania).
