At Lighwa village the orphans and vulnerable children with their caregivers and the other villagers are listening to the facilitator who was educating them about the value of the child as a resource to the life if they are well cared for. The event took place on 19th Dec, 2015 at Lighwa village when OVCC organization went to support and educate them.

OVCC Coordinator, Mr. Bernard Sungi is educating the children with their caregivers about The Child's Rights at Mwisi village on 28th Nov, 2015. here the caregivers were given an opportunity to share their ideas and opinions on how the engage themselves in caring for the orphans and vulnerable children. The ideas were valued and later on all together concluded that we are the one responsible to care for the orphans and vulnerable around us in the villages. All people were touched and sensitized by the Education offered by Mr. Sungi and with one voice they have agreed to care for the orphans and vulnerable children around them.About 201 orphans and vulnerable children and about 72 caregivers and parents attended the event.

The OVCC drama group is educating the caregivers and the orphans and vulnerable children on how other caregivers do treat unfairly the orphans children they live with. It i true that the caregivers were mentally moved forward from the level of their understanding about the necessity of well caring for an orphan child. They were educated about the benefits they would earn after bringing the orphans children they care for to school that there is a day that they would be hired or get a good job so that they will remember them for nice gifts, money, build good houses, etc. Here also is at Mungaa village when OVCC conducted training on 17th October 2015.

Orphans children with no both parents are given school uniforms so that they can develop in their leaning at school. The event was done at Mungaa village on 17th October 2015 when OVCC organization also conducted training to the caregivers and the orphans and vulnerable children too. In this training, most of the caregivers were touched to make sure that the orphans children they care for are well cared for and get their basic rights like the other children.

On 17th October 2015, OVCC organization was training the caregivers and the orphans and vulnerable children at Mungaa village and provide the children with school uniforms and school materials. The children were encouraged to be eager in leaning because now they have got what was one of their hindrances to hard leaning.

Orphans and vulnerable above are with the materials like pieces of soap, excise books, shoes, pens, pencils, Tshirts, bracelets and school unjiforms after being provided by OVCC on 5th September 2015 at Musambu village. They were so happy to be supported with those materials so that they can use them at schools, clean their clothes with soaps, etc.

The photo above shows the orphans and vulnerable children with school materials such as excise books, pens, pencils, school uniforms and also are with Tshirts, shoes, pieces of soap and hand bracelets. This event took place at Musambu village on 5th September 2015. The caregivers, the orphans and vulnerable children and the other villagers were taught about to love and well care for the orphans and vulnerable children.

The picture above shows the OVCC members while on the field to educate the orphans and vulnerable children with their caregivers about fairly treating the orphans and vulnerable children. One the member is acting like an orphan child being sent every second while the other children with their parent are just continuing eating some food. An orphan child could not eat enough because he has been given instants tasks to accomplish while at the same time other children are continuing eating. This made the care givers at Musambu village on 5th September 2015 on the event, to cry while looking at the orphan child doing different activities during the time to take lunch or dinner. Real the caregivers have recived the lesson and decided to change their behavior toward the orphans and vulnerable children.
